Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Duration: 6 Months Contract (Extendable)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Purchase Coordinator to join our team. This critical role is responsible for managing our procurement and sourcing activities, requiring a candidate with a specific set of skills and experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive negotiator with a strong background in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:
The Purchase Coordinator will be instrumental in driving our procurement strategy, with key responsibilities centered around:

  • Strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Conducting supplier negotiations to secure optimal terms.
  • Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to fulfill material and service requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

To be considered for this position, candidates must unequivocally meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Diploma graduate.
  • Core Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in sourcing and supplier negotiation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience with Oracle software is preferred.
  • Professional Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Industry Background: Demonstrable experience in the marine, industrial, or logistics industry. (Experience in the marine sector is highly preferred).
