Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring marble, granite, and related materials from local and international suppliers. The role requires strong vendor management, cost control, and knowledge of stone quality standards to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers (local & international) for marble, granite, and other building materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with quarries, factories, and distributors.
• Ensure procurement of high-quality stones as per company standards and project specifications.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse and project teams for material requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders and track delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
• Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and agreements.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and price trends.
• Coordinate with logistics and shipping agents for import and customs clearance of materials.
• Control procurement costs and ensure maximum value for the company.
• Assist in developing procurement policies and strategies to optimize operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the marble & granite industry or building materials sector.
• Strong knowledge of marble and granite types, grades, and quality standards.
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
