Purchase Executive

We are currently seeking freshers to join our team and help expand our presence in India.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Procurement and Purchase -

· Implementing daily/ weekly plans for procurement of goods as per production schedules and managing procurement from the market at optimum cost.

· Handle import procurement process, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

· Research and identify potential vendors, both domestic and international, to expand our supplier network.

· Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers to negotiate the best possible terms and prices.

· Timely monitoring of stocks with Store staff to maintain optimum inventory.

· Weekly follow-up with Stores, Quality, team for material rejection and returns for vendors, etc.

· To coordinate for rejection and return of the raw material in case it doesn’t meet the quality requirements.

· Conscious to situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock causing financial loss.

· Review and assess the quality of purchased products to meet established standards.

· Collaborate with quality control team to resolve any RM purchase related issues.

Order Tracking and Delivery

· Track orders to ensure timely delivery of purchased products.

· Address any issues or delays in the delivery process to maintain a smooth supply chain.

· Coordinate and expedite the import process as required to minimize delays and optimize efficiency.

· Work with freight forwarding agencies to ensure seamless logistics and timely shipments.

Vendor Management

· Follow-up on daily basis with vendors ensuring on time availability of materials for production.

· Coordinate trial orders with new suppliers to evaluate their performance.

· Report issues or vendor performance to facilitate timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries.
