Purchase Executive

Job Objective

- Seeking a candidate who has the acumen and zeal to work in India’s largest

cannabis company with a core responsibility to - undertake purchase and

procurement coordination and logistics for the companies products and inventory movement.

Job Description

- Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production: Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.

- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.

- Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

- Control purchasing department budgets.

- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.

- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes

- Prepares batch by batch production reports

- Recommends response to complaints, considering test reports, production records, legal standards, and complaint validity

- Monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics

- Maintaining an up to date data base of the logistics options and cost effectively connecting consignments

- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues

- Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability

- Develop and implement quality control standards for inbound and outbound goods

- Ensure storage of items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas

- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors

- Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems.

- 3PL Management – supervise / monitor / train 3 PL logistics – packing / last mile

- Hands on experience in WMS -ZOHO preferred

- Day to day analysis of - orders received / warehousing cost / transportation

cost.

Education

- UG: Any Graduate: Bachelor in Pharmacy or Production Engineer Preferred

- PG: Any Post Graduate: Any Specialization

- Doctorate: Not Required

Skills

- Critical thinking, logic and reasoning

- Specialized knowledge in production process and vendor management

- Specialized knowledge of the on-ground function of logistics

- Knowledge of laws, legal codes pertaining to logistics and operations

- Coordination, negotiation & personal management

- Proactive at identifying bottlenecks and implement solutions

- Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards

- Perseverance, persistence, courteous & empathetic and a drive to perform

- Strong oral and written communication skills;

- Hands on with MS Office and emails / experience with WMS / ZOHO would be added advantage

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
