Purchase Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing construction materials, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining cost efficiency while complying with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms with vendors.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with site/project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Maintain vendor database and develop long-term supplier relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store/site teams to avoid shortages.
• Verify bills and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.
• Ensure materials meet required quality standards and project specifications.
• Track market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation for audits and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and vendor markets.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
