Purchase Manager

Purchase Manager Responsibilities:

· Conducting product research and sourcing new or alternate suppliers and vendors.

· Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost- effective contracts and deals.

· Performing inventory inspections in line with stores, reordering supplies and stock as necessary and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately

· Conducting market research to keep abreast of the updated technology & map requirements in the plant

· Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, received stock and returns to suppliers with compliance.

· Critical spares to be maintained as per their avg. lead time & align with the stores.

· Regular training to be received & to be given in respect of purchase.

· Designing of the process wherever necessary in case there are gaps in the same.

· Processing the indent within the informed TAT to avoid any delays in the production.

· Reduction in purchase cost through substitute products, alternate suppliers, negotiation.

· Purchase to be done within the prescribed budget as allocated to the department.

· Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.

· Establishing professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.

· Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.

Purchasing Officer Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engg. Or diploma in mechanical / electrical.

· Previous experience in a similar position.

· Proficiency in the relevant management software programs.

· Written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

· The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.

· The ability to follow client specifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
