Purchase Manager

We are seeking an experienced and efficient Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of FMCG goods and supermarket inventory. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining optimal stock levels across all categories such as groceries, dairy, personal care, household items, and perishables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the procurement of FMCG products, perishables, non-perishables, and general merchandise.
• Source and evaluate suppliers/distributors for best pricing, quality, and service.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and credit with vendors to optimize costs and margins.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across departments using demand forecasts and sales trends.
• Ensure timely and accurate purchase order creation, delivery follow-ups, and GRN (Goods Received Note) processing.
• Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and resolve supply issues proactively.
