Job Responsibilities/ Job Description

Purchase Order Processing:

Prepare & and process purchase orders based on requisitions and approved purchase requests with approvals.

Ensure accuracy in documenting product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.

Vendor Development:

Find new potential suppliers, do evaluation as per standard QMS suppliers selection process.

Supplier Communication and Coordination:

Collaborate with suppliers to gather necessary information, negotiate terms, and confirm order details.

Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track order status and address any issues that may arise.

Price Negotiation:

Assist in negotiating favorable pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

Conduct market research to stay informed about current pricing trends and opportunities for cost reduction.

Do negotiate payment terms with supplier an opportunistic view.

Supplier Management:

Maintain and update the supplier database, including contact information, product offerings, and Vendor Ratings.

Evaluate supplier performance through periodic reviews and feedback to vendors.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure purchased items meet specified quality standards.

Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers promptly.

Inventory Management Support:

Work closely with the store department to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts.

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and reconciling discrepancies.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Ensure proper documentation of all procurement-related activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.

Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audit and reporting purposes.

Compliance Adherence:

Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement.

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,174.67 - ₹62,975.85 per month
