Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for MEP, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, and Electrical materials.
- Source reliable suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE market.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (PO), subcontracts, and material approvals.
- Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Stores, and Finance departments.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Monitor inventory levels and control procurement costs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and UAE regulations.
- Handle claims, discrepancies, and supplier disputes professionally.
- Support budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement within MEP / Construction industry in UAE.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing materials.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Familiar with UAE suppliers, logistics, and documentation.
- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in Abu Dhabi projects.
- Knowledge of Civil Defence / ADDC / ADQCC approvals.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
