Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for MEP, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, and Electrical materials.
• Source reliable suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE market.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (PO), subcontracts, and material approvals.
• Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Stores, and Finance departments.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Monitor inventory levels and control procurement costs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and UAE regulations.
• Handle claims, discrepancies, and supplier disputes professionally.
• Support budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement within MEP / Construction industry in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing materials.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiar with UAE suppliers, logistics, and documentation.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in Abu Dhabi projects.
• Knowledge of Civil Defence / ADDC / ADQCC approvals.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
