Our client is a leading interiors brand recognized for its premium projects, attention to detail, and innovative design solutions. With a strong reputation in the Bangalore market, they are scaling rapidly and looking to strengthen their operations team with a dedicated Purchase Manager.

About the Role
The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing all procurement and vendor-related activities while setting up proper processes and compliance frameworks. This is a pivotal role that goes beyond buying and focuses on streamlining vendor management and reducing inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process — from quotation to PO to invoice payment.
  • Handle vendor management and onboarding, particularly for furniture and interiors suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance by collecting necessary documents, clarifying payment terms, credit periods, and tax requirements.
  • Verify invoices before finance approval, avoiding ad-hoc payments.
  • Track purchases against POs for visibility and accountability.
  • Supervise one team member and collaborate closely with Finance and leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in interiors, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of vendor management, compliance, and purchase processes.
  • Ability to build systems from scratch and streamline workflows.
  • Good negotiation, documentation, and team management skills.
