Purchase Officer

We're seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities for our catering and facility management company. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement and Sourcing:

- Identify purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies

- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery

- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors

- Vendor Management:

- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues

- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships

- Inventory Management:

- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand

- Track market trends and adjust purchasing strategies

- Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare reports on procurement activities and cost analyses

- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities

- Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role, preferably in catering or facility management industry

- Skills:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications: Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification

- Experience in Facility Management: Knowledge of facility management operations and procurement practices

- ERP Software: Proficiency in using ERP software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
