Job Summary:

College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Purchaser with at least 1 year of hands on experience to manage the purchase. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or discrepancies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers,

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
