Purchasing Analyst (Winston-Salem, NC)

Job Summary:

In search of a detail orientated person to coordinate activities in the purchasing process. Not only will position create and process purchase orders but they will also use problem solving skills to work and resolve delivery and vendor issues. To be successful in this position, strong cost negotiating ability and inventory control knowledge are necessary. Great communication skills are critical. Purchasing experience with fastener experience required. Microsoft Office experience required along with the ability to learn new programs.

We are seeking a talented Purchasing Agent to join our team. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for the following:

Must Haves:

• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience required.
• Great communication skills are critical.
• Strong customer focus.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, understanding, aligning, delivering and following up with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to learn new software programs.
