Purchasing Assistant

Job Summary
Bulloch Fabricating Inc. is a Sheet Metal Fabricating shop in Lewisville, TX that was established in 1985. We offer quality design and development of all sheet metal needs, specializing in precision manufacturing and timely delivery. We serve numerous industries, including but not limited to: Baggage Handling Conveyors, Electrical Cabinets, Store Fixturing, Electronic Processing Equipment, and Turnkey Machining.

We currently have an opening for a Purchasing Assistant.

This position is Full-Time In-Person Monday thru Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing Manager as needed with the following: requesting quotes, purchasing material, entering POs, reviewing past due report, following up on orders.
• Enter part numbers and POs into company ERP system.
• Review of customer purchase orders, bills of material and drawings to ensure appropriate materials are ordered.
• Track material receipts, issues and returns to make sure items arrive on time and correctly.
• Effectively communicate with vendors to follow up on material deliveries and outsourcing jobs.
• Assist Accounts Payable by reviewing and entering incoming vendor invoices and matching them to purchase orders when needed.
• Assist receiving in material when needed
• Back up on phones when needed

Requirements

• 2 years in a similar role within a small manufacturing company.
• Able to read shop prints
• Effective computer skills, experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Experience with a company ERP system
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detailed oriented, organized, self-motivated and dependable
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lewisville, TX 75057: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Purchasing: 2 years (Preferred)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
