Job Description

EleMech Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for creating purchase orders, running and maintaining the MRP system, assisting with cycle counts. Key Responsibilities:

-Run MRP system to generate and review material requirements.

-Convert MRP demand into purchase orders and ensure timely procurement.

-Process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies.

-Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.

-Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, product details, and delivery schedule.

-Verify order accuracy, pricing, and terms before processing.

-Track shipments and follow up on late or missing deliveries.

-Maintain purchasing records, files, and reports.

-Assist in resolving discrepancies with invoices, orders, or deliveries.

-Assist with periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following company safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

-High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in business or related field preferred

-Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is a plus

-Experience running or supporting an MRP system is strongly preferred

-Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

-Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively

Compensation Package:

Schedule:

-Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm

Work Location: In Person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
