House of Forgings and its subsidiaries are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in managing procurement processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities

Coordinate the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services in alignment with company needs and specifications.

Maintain and update purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

Research and identify potential new suppliers to improve cost efficiency and quality.

Address and resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or other vendor concerns.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.

Prepare reports and provide insights on purchasing activities to management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals and initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of the electrical supply or distribution industry is a plus.
