Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our team. This role is key to ensuring that all materials and supplies are ordered, tracked, and delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be organized, a strong communicator, and eager to support our project teams in building exceptional homes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing of building materials, fixtures, and supplies.

• Request and review vendor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate records.

• Track deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely arrival of materials.

• Support project managers and site supervisors with material needs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

• Assist in cost control by monitoring pricing and identifying savings opportunities.

• Manage and maintain current pricing while updating cost book.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in purchasing, construction, or related field preferred.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

• Knowledge of residential construction materials a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
