About the Role:

We are looking for a Purchase Manager who will be responsible for managing procurement operations, vendor development, and inventory planning. The ideal candidate must be based near Taratala / New Alipore and have experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end purchase operations for raw materials, packaging materials, and other factory supplies.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate rates, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Maintain proper documentation — invoice, and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts teams for smooth material flow.
• Monitor purchase budgets and implement cost-control strategies.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate (preferably B.Com / BBA / MBA in Supply Chain / Operations).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in purchase/procurement (preferably FMCG).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
• Must be residing near Taratala / New Alipore or willing to travel daily to the location.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
