Purchasing Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all purchasing activities to ensure the timely procurement of quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role focuses on supplier management, cost control, compliance, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery
- Review and approve purchase requests and purchase orders
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and approval procedures
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and manage purchasing budgets and reports
- Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams for smooth procurement processes
- Ensure ethical sourcing and adherence to company standards
- Handle supplier disputes and resolve procurement-related issues

Qualifications & Experience

- Knowledge of contract management and supplier evaluation processes
- Preferred candidate should has a strong experience in F&B supply chain background
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with regular coordination with suppliers and internal departments
- May require occasional site visits or supplier meetings
