Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to manage and oversee our company’s procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely supply at the best possible cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet business needs
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
  • Create and manage purchase orders and procurement documentation
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/production teams
  • Perform cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
  • Resolve supplier issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
