Purchasing Specialist

We are looking for a “Purchasing Specialist” for our client in the medical equipment & dental tools manufacturing sector.

Job Description:

• Work directly under the General Manager, managing core logistics and procurement activities
• Oversee stock management, ensure accurate inventory levels, and handle purchasing requests (e.g., vehicle rental processes, collecting private health insurance quotations)
• Create international purchase orders in correct quantities and ensure timely submission
• Collaborate closely with the Finance department on purchasing and payment workflows
• Place accurate orders for globally ready products; requires strong product knowledge and effective communication with existing suppliers (no supplier sourcing involved)
• Coordinate with factories in Austria and Germany regarding product orders and shipment processes
• Manage logistics operations for inbound goods arriving at customs, including final delivery planning and scheduling
• Ensure products are delivered to distributors on time and in correct quantities, requiring strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in the healthcare, medical devices, or industrial sectors)
• Strong analytical thinking with a structured, planned, and systematic working approach
• Active driver; must be able to operate a vehicle confidently
• Preferably residing on the Anatolian side
• Must have good command of English for reading and written communication
• Knowledge of the ÜTS – Product Tracking System
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (1–2 times per year)
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Infor or SAP is required
• Strong command of Excel
• Result‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a dynamic environment
