Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and monitoring quality assurance policies and procedures in line with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.).
- Conduct routine inspections of food handling, storage, and preparation areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Support in monitoring raw materials, ingredients, and finished products for quality and safety.
- Maintain proper documentation of quality checks, audits, and corrective actions.
- Assist in staff training on hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Report non-conformities, deviations, or quality issues to the QA Officer/Manager for timely resolution.
- Coordinate with kitchen/production teams to ensure consistent adherence to hospitality and food safety standards.
- Assist in preparing quality reports and presenting findings for management review.
- Participate in internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of monitoring equipment used for QA activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety/HACCP, ISO 22000, or related standards is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, food handling, and hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with quality audits, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office) and strong attention to detail.
