QA/QC Civil Engineer (Aramco Approved)

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose

To ensure all civil works (earthworks, concrete, structural, finishing, roadworks, etc.) in Aramco projects are executed in full compliance with Aramco standards, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality procedures through systematic inspection, documentation, and quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret Aramco project specifications, drawings, ITPs, and procedures specific to civil engineering works.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements for civil activities.
  • Conduct daily inspections and verification of formwork, rebar, concrete works, backfilling, compaction, asphalt paving, waterproofing, etc.
  • Monitor and control concrete batching, slump testing, cube testing, curing, etc., and ensure traceability.
  • Coordinate third-party and client inspections and ensure proper Request for Inspection (RFI) submissions with complete documentation.
  • Identify and report non-conformities, initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and verify closures.
  • Ensure proper material approvals and that all civil materials (e.g., cement, aggregates, rebar, waterproofing membranes, etc.) are Aramco-approved and tested per specifications.
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation: inspection records, NCR logs, material approvals, concrete test results, compaction tests, etc.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure civil construction compliance with ISO 9001, Aramco SAES-Q-001, SAES-A-112, and relevant international codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).
  • Interface with Aramco Civil QC Inspectors, consultants, and internal site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
  • Participate in Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIMs) and ensure quality deliverables are submitted for Aramco Mechanical Completion and Final Acceptance.
  • Support QA/QC Manager in ensuring all civil works pass final inspections and handover processes.

Qualifications & ExperienceCriteriaRequirementEducationBSc / BEng in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)ApprovalMust be Aramco-approved as a Civil QA/QC Engineer (with SAP/ID approval number or via Aramco CBT / vendor portal)Experience5–10+ years in QA/QC Civil on Aramco or Oil & Gas infrastructure projects in Saudi ArabiaCertificationsISO 9001:2015 QMS (Lead Auditor is a plus); relevant civil inspection training; concrete or soil lab testing certificates (preferred)Codes & StandardsDeep knowledge of Aramco SAES, SATIP, SAIC, ACI, ASTM, ACI 301/318, IBC, IBC, BS 8110, etc.

  • Capable of interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Ability to manage documentation for audits and inspections
  • Experience using quality software tools or inspection systems (e.g., QMIS, Aramco SAP interface)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
