QAQC Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our steel structure factory. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Quality Assurance & Quality Control system in the factory
• Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, WPS, PQR, and Welding Qualifications
• Conduct inspections for material receiving, fabrication, welding, NDT, blasting, painting, and final inspection
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards (AWS, ASTM, AISC, ISO, etc.)
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and client/consultant representatives
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, NCRs, inspection records, and final dossiers
• Monitor calibration of inspection and testing equipment
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 05 years of experience in steel structure fabrication
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT, and coating inspection
• Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Certification such as CSWIP / AWS / BGAS (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications
• Good communication and documentation skills
