QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary

PFC Group is looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer – QA/QC to support inspection and quality control activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all materials, installations and testing activities comply with approved drawings, ITPs, project specifications, and quality standards. The role requires strong coordination with site teams and proper maintenance of QA/QC documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform material inspections and verify Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Mill Test Certificates (MTC).
• Prepare and review Work Inspection Reports (WIR) for mechanical and piping activities.
• Coordinate welding activities in line with approved WPS/PQR/WPQ requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities (VT, RT, PT, UT).
• Participate in hydro and pneumatic testing including test pack preparation and documentation.
• Conduct painting inspections including surface preparation checks and DFT measurements.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation as per approved ITPs and project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for inspection and quality clearance.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and reporting.
• Understanding of welding inspection coordination and NDT processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation control.
