QA/QC Engineer

Job in Brief:

Determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes; Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, etc. Other tasks assigned by Manager.

SKILLS:

v Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

v Experience in construction quality assurance/quality control, management Implementing QA/QC management system at site and monitor activities to ensure quality objectives are met.

v Ability to Verify quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards

v Quality check and control, Quality advocacy, Efficiency and Productivity

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for development, implementation and monitor of company Quality management system both at Site and Offices.
• Preparation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO 9001 & as per contractual requirements
• Responsible for preparation of method statement, inspection test plans, check list & commissioning dossier.
• Coordinate with Main Contractor's Quality Representative on all quality matters
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to Site Subcontractors
• Organizing and coordinating Quality Inspections through the Quality Control Engineers / Inspectors as per the Inspection & Test Plan, and also, Quality Inspections with all Sub-contractors & Vendors.
• Ensuring approved materials & equipment are received at site.
• Ensuring installation of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing services as per approved method statements, drawings & project specifications.
• Revising & updating Inspection & Test Plan
• Conducting Internal Audits on all disciplines of the project at Site and also, in offices.
• Control of shop drawings & contract drawings
• Conducting Site Inspections and ensuring all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built handover.
• Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.
• Preparation of work instruction, quality procedure, Quality plan for electromechanical works.
• Preparing required Reports on Quality / Material / Site constraints, etc.
