Job Vacancy – QA/QC Engineer

UPTOWN Technical Services L.L.C. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
• Prepare and review Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Material Submittals, and Quality Documentation.
• Coordinate and submit MIRs, WIRs, RFIs, and related quality records.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance.
• Monitor and close NCRs, observations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams on quality-related matters.
• Maintain project quality records, test reports, approvals, and handover documentation.
• Assist in preparing As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, warranties, and project closeout documents.
• Support authority inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of UAE experience in construction, fit-out, or MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, Method Statements, and project documentation.
• Experience dealing with consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and quality management documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISO 9001 Quality Management System knowledge.
• Experience in fit-out, renovation, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
