QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Civil) – Residential Villas

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 4,000 – 6,000 (Based on experience)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in UAE Villa Projects

Role Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Civil Engineer to oversee the quality management of our residential villa projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities meet the specified standards, municipal regulations, and client expectations through rigorous inspection and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections for all civil works (excubation, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and finishing) to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage Request for Inspections (RFIs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Material Quality: Verify that all materials delivered to the site match the approved submittals and are stored correctly.
• Reporting: Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary and track the implementation of corrective actions.
• Testing: Coordinate with third-party laboratories for soil, concrete, and steel testing, ensuring all results meet UAE building codes.
• Compliance: Ensure all works align with Dubai Municipality (DM) or Trakhees regulations and standards.
• Handover: Assist in the preparation of final quality dossiers and "As-Built" documentation for project handover.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Exactly 2+ years of hands-on experience in the UAE, specifically focused on G+1 or Luxury Villa projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading structural and architectural drawings; strong knowledge of concrete technology and finishing standards.
• Software: Competent in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Consultants.
• Availability: Must be currently residing in the UAE and ready to join within short notice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid UAE Driver’s License (highly preferred for site-to-site travel).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
