QA/QC Engineer- Civil

About the Role

Descon Engineering is seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer – Civil to support civil and structural works for brownfield and retrofitting projects in Oil & Gas facilities. The role involves ensuring construction quality, compliance with drawings, specifications, and international standards in live plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures for civil and structural works.
• Perform site inspections for concrete, reinforcement, steel erection, and modification works.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and safety requirements.
• Manage NCRs, inspections, testing records, and QA/QC documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .
• 5–7 years QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or industrial brownfield projects.
• Experience working in live operating plants is essential.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of civil/structural QA/QC practices.
• Familiarity with quality standards.
• Strong inspection, documentation, and coordination skills.
