QA/QC Inspector – Equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspection and quality checks of equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems as per project specifications and approved procedures.
• Verify equipment fabrication, assembly, and installation meets project quality standards.
• Review and ensure material certifications, welding procedures, and equipment test reports are compliant.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional tests of equipment.
• Ensure adherence to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and approved drawings.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and QA/QC team to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and client requirements.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as QA/QC Inspector – Equipment in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment inspection, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Familiar with international standards (API, ASME, ISO, ANSI, NACE).
• Experience in inspection tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of quality documentation, reports, and NCR handling.

Preferred Certifications:

• API 570 / 653 / 510, NACE, or equivalent QA/QC certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 quality standards.
