Job Title: QA/QC Manager
Department: QA/QC
Reporting To: QSHE Director / Project Director
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain the QA/QC system at the project site in accordance with project contract requirements.
- Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Control Plan.
- Ensure full compliance with project specifications, standards, and approved documentation.
- Monitor site activities to ensure inspections and testing are carried out according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Ensure implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) by both internal execution teams and subcontractors.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the QA/QC team for the project, including subcontractor QA/QC personnel.
- Provide guidance, training, and supervision to QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
Inspection & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections for construction activities including:
- Formwork
- Reinforcement fixing
- Concreting
- Backfilling
- Asphalt works
- Building, architectural, and finishing works
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Review and manage material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
- Ensure all technical documentation is properly prepared, reviewed, controlled, and submitted according to project requirements.
- Monitor document logs maintained by the document control team.
- Review and submit QA/QC reports to the relevant departments and corporate management as required.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Issue and approve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised by the QA/QC team.
- Analyze NCRs and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve operational efficiency.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with project departments, subcontractors, consultants, and clients on QA/QC matters.
- Liaise with laboratories to ensure materials testing and compliance with project specifications.
- Attend QA/QC meetings with consultants, engineers, and employers.
- Coordinate with the Corporate QHSE Department for internal and external audits.
Audits & Training
- Conduct internal quality audits for subcontractors to ensure compliance with the project QMS.
- Organize and deliver QA/QC training programs for project staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly meeting minutes (MOM) and coordinate quality-related matters with other departments.
- Participate in supplier factory inspections and assessments as per the approved project schedule.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the project quality management framework.
· Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in QA/QC within construction projects
- Previous experience as QA/QC Manager or Senior QA/QC Engineer preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and procedures
- Experience with ITPs, method statements, and material submittals
- Familiarity with ISO quality management systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure compliance with project requirements

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
