We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project in Qatar. The candidate will ensure that all project activities comply with Qatar construction standards, project specifications, and client requirements, while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) in accordance with ISO 9001 and Qatar project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Ashghal, QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications), and project quality standards.
- Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Procedures, and Material Submittals.
- Lead and manage the QA/QC team across civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Coordinate with Consultant, Client, and Third-Party Inspectors for inspections and approvals.
- Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support client/consultant audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of quality records, inspection reports, and documentation for project handover.
- Support testing & commissioning activities to ensure systems meet operational and quality requirements.
- Provide regular quality performance reports to Project Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- Minimum 12–15 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in STP/WWTP projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local project requirements.
- Experience working with Ashghal or major infrastructure projects in Qatar is preferred.
- Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and documentation skills.
