Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector – Metallic for major Oil & Gas construction projects. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in metallic piping inspection within refinery, LNG, petrochemical, or pipeline environments in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect metallic piping fabrication and erection works
• Verify compliance with drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and project specifications
• Conduct inspection of:
• Welding & fit-up
• Hydrotesting & pneumatic testing
• Line checking & flushing
• Valve installation
• Material receiving & traceability
• Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records
• Coordinate with NDT teams (RT, UT, PT, MT)
• Monitor coating, painting, and insulation of piping systems
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and project QA/QC standards
• Maintain inspection reports, test records, and QA documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years GCC experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Strong experience in metallic piping inspection
• Experience in refinery, LNG, petrochemical, or pipeline EPC projects
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, API standards, welding procedures
• Experience in hydrotest packages and mechanical completion dossiers
• Familiar with QA/QC documentation and ITP procedures

Education & Certifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• CSWIP 3.1 / BGAS / API certification preferred

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
