QCCD certified Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced QCDD Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) license and have extensive experience in designing, supervising, and certifying fire fighting and fire protection systems according to NFPA and local Qatar standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design & Engineering: Prepare and review mechanical fire protection designs, including fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, FM200, and fire pump rooms. - QCDD Approvals: Handle all technical submissions to the Qatar Civil Defence Department. Ensure all drawings and installations comply with the Qatar Fire Safety Standards. - Site Supervision: Supervise on-site installations of fire fighting systems to ensure they match approved shop drawings and meet quality standards. - Inspections & Testing: Lead the testing and commissioning of fire systems and coordinate with QCDD inspectors for final building completion certificates. - Technical Support: Assist the sales and project teams with technical queries, material submittals, and compliance requirements. Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Certification: Must be a QCDD Certified Engineer (Grade A or B preferred). - UPDA/MMUP: Must have a valid UPDA/MMUP engineering license. - Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the Fire & Safety industry within Qatar. - Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software (like Elite or HASS).
