Q/S Contract Manager

We are looking for QS Contracts Manager for AIMC subsidiary of Imkan Properties (Advanced International Marine Company is a Marine logistics support and service company)


Position Overview:

The Q/S Contract Manager – Contracts will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of assigned marine and offshore projects in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, mitigates risks, maximizes commercial opportunities, and provides strategic guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, review, and negotiate contracts, variations, claims, and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and submit commercial reports, risk assessments, and contract status updates to senior management.
  • Lead dispute resolution processes and provide proactive advice on claims and contractual matters.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor progress, assess change orders, and ensure accurate documentation of all commercial and contractual activities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior contract and commercial staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification (MRICS / PQS) preferred.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in contract management/QS roles, preferably in marine, offshore, or heavy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE contract law, FIDIC, NEC, and other international standard contracts.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts, handling claims, and managing disputes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in multicultural, multinational environments.
