Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets based on drawings and specifications.
- Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies for projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in tender preparation, subcontractor evaluation, and bid analysis.
- Prepare tender submissions and cost proposals.
Post-Contract Responsibilities
- Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage variation orders, claims, and contract administration.
- Prepare and verify interim payment applications and progress valuations.
- Review and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts.
- Track project costs and provide regular financial reports to management.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract activities.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Proficiency in Excel and quantity surveying software/tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
