Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets based on drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies for projects.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist in tender preparation, subcontractor evaluation, and bid analysis.
  • Prepare tender submissions and cost proposals.

Post-Contract Responsibilities

  • Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage variation orders, claims, and contract administration.
  • Prepare and verify interim payment applications and progress valuations.
  • Review and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts.
  • Track project costs and provide regular financial reports to management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out or construction projects.
  • Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract activities.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Proficiency in Excel and quantity surveying software/tools.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
