Role Summary
We are seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / CA Finalist with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. The role involves leading financial management, compliance, costing, and strategic financial planning to support operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting in line with IFRS and local regulations.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all financial records.
2. Costing & Budgeting
- Develop, monitor, and control annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Implement effective cost accounting systems and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Conduct margin, cost, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
3. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure adherence to tax laws, corporate regulations, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage working capital, banking relationships, and funding requirements.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure optimal liquidity.
- Administer banking facilities and financing limits.
5. Business Partnering & Strategy
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to support decision-making.
- Provide financial insights for capital investments, expansion projects, and new ventures.
- Drive automation and ERP-based financial systems for process efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4+ years in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in costing, production accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of import/export finance and documentation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS, local tax laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
