Quality Assurance Executive

Job Purpose:

Ensure implementation and execution of Warehouse Good Practices and the Quality conformity of all Finished Goods within the Warehouse and Logistics Network, and oversee the Quality Management Systems and compliance at the Warehouse and Logistics network.

Job Responsibilities:

Quality & Process Evaluation

• Evaluate the company’s quality and distribution process capabilities against internal standards, industry benchmarks, and regulatory expectations.

Distribution & Inventory Management

• Oversee development and remediation of controls and quality standards for:
• Receiving
• Picking
• Packing
• Lot reconciliation
• Manage communication on progress within BCO.

Product Quality Oversight

• Oversee product quality holds and field actions impacting the Distribution Center.
• Ensure physical product testing requirements are implemented (e.g., functional testing, visual inspection, verification).

Repackaging & Relabeling Operations

• Ensure implementation of requirements for repackaging and relabeling within the Warehouse.
• Manage quality of operations including:
• Repacking
• Relabeling
• Over-labeling
• Kitting
• Reworking

Temperature-Controlled Facilities

• Ensure validation of cold chain and controlled ambient facilities with QA Manager support.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of temperature excursions to relevant partners.
• Ensure adherence to temperature control and monitoring requirements.
• Investigate temperature control exceptions and oversee remediation activities.

Customer Complaints & Quality Issues

• Handle distribution-related customer complaints.
• Track, trend, and mitigate quality-related issues.

Quality Systems & Validation

• Oversee controls and standards for:
• WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Internal audits
• Other software systems used in BCO
• Manage Quality Systems including:
• CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
• Document management
• Change control
• Training management
• Preventative maintenance systems

Management & Compliance

• Conduct Management Reviews of Warehouse Operations.
• Manage Health Authority inspections (e.g., Municipality).
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks through internal audits.
• Manage all required facility licenses.

Support & Miscellaneous

• Support departmental goals, objectives, and business metrics.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
