Quality Assurance Manager (QAM)

Lahore, Pakistan

  • Develop, implement, and monitor food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set by local health departments and food safety authorities.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections.
  • Develop and update SOPs related to food handling, hygiene, sanitation, and quality control.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Train staff on hygiene practices, food safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Conduct refresher training sessions and maintain comprehensive training records.
  • Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and food safety incidents.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions, and follow up to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, monitoring, and testing activities.
  • Ensure complete traceability of products and ingredients from sourcing to service.
  • Evaluate and approve suppliers based on defined quality and safety criteria.
  • Conduct supplier audits as required.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and support quality improvement initiatives across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience (Preferably within the QSR, food manufacturing, or hospitality industry).
  • Additional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or Food Safety Management Systems are preferred.
