Quality Checker – Raw Material & Finished Products

Job Summary:

The Quality Checker will be responsible for ensuring quality standards across both incoming raw materials and finished garments. This role plays a key part in maintaining Zuria Dor’s premium quality by inspecting fabrics, trims, and final products to ensure consistency, accuracy, and luxury finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect fabrics, laces, embellishments, and accessories for defects, color variations, and quality issues.
• Verify materials against approved samples and purchase specifications.
• Conduct basic fabric testing (shrinkage, colorfastness, GSM, etc.).
• Report any discrepancies to procurement and production teams.
• Maintain proper records of inspections and approvals.
• Check garments for stitching quality, measurements, fitting, and finishing.
• Identify defects such as loose threads, stains, incorrect stitching, or faulty embellishments.
• Ensure products match approved designs, samples, and size specifications.
• Conduct final quality checks before packing and dispatch.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and packaging standards.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Understanding of luxury fashion quality standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify defects and suggest corrective actions
• Education: Matric / Intermediate
• Experience: 1–3 Years (Fashion/Garment Industry Preferred)
