Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Quality control activities associated with the repair of Gas turbine, steam turbine, generator rotors, Bearings, compressors and various casings for Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and associated industries.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional matrix organization to achieve the required high-Quality standards - on time, on budget, every time.

Quality control activities - Quality Inspection & Control
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with approved procedures, travelers, and Process Control Plans (PCP).
- Conduct dimensional inspections, visual checks, runout measurements, hardness testing, surface roughness verification, and Non-Destructive Testing (PT, MT, PMI) as required.
- Verify incoming components against drawings, scope of work, and documentation; identify damage, abnormalities, or deviations.
- Ensure re-inspection and NDT are completed following machining, welding, or other critical repair processes.
- Identify, document, and immediately report non-conformities, missed inspection steps, or procedural deviations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive incoming, in-process, and final inspection reports for internal and customer review.
- Ensure all PCPs and travelers are fully completed, signed, and traceable.
- Maintain inspection logs, qualification records, and inspection documentation in compliance with QMS and audit requirements.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Develop, update, and maintain shop inspection procedures for Siemens Energy advanced and mature frames throughout all repair stages.
- Maintain qualification records for components, including fully qualified, conditionally qualified, and in-process items.
- Promote "right-first-time" execution to reduce cycle time and prevent rework.
Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping
- Actively support and promote safety culture on the shop floor in coordination with EHS.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, accurate time booking, and high attendance standards.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure tools, equipment, and documentation are stored appropriately.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a repair shop or shop-floor environment for rotating / static equipment's.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, and developing shop quality documentation.
- CSWIP 3.1, NDT II certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and production teams.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks independently, and perform effectively under time-critical conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and high standards of integrity and professional conduct.
- Experience working in multinational and multicultural environments with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
