JOB PURPOSE:

The QA/QC Incharge is responsible for ensuring that all PET bottles and related products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves establishing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product consistency and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems, SOPs in line with ISO standards and customer requirements.

· Ensure compliance with food-grade safety standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 22000, GMP).

· Coordinate with the production team to prevent defects and reduce rework.

· Review and approve raw material quality, including PET resin, masterbatch, and packaging materials.

· Oversee documentation and traceability for quality processes.

· Conduct in-process inspections of bottles at various production stages, including preform, blowing, and finishing.

· Monitor critical quality parameters:

o Wall thickness

o Weight consistency

o Visual defects (e.g., haze, bubbles, burns, neck deformation)

o Leak test and pressure test

· Inspect finished goods before dispatch to ensure they meet customer specifications.

· Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.

· Maintain and calibrate testing equipment regularly.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.

· Supervise and guide QA/QC staff, including Quality Inspectors and lab assistant.

· Recommend new testing methods and updated equipment for better quality control.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

10 years

TECHNICAL SKILLS (If any)

· Knowledge of PET resin properties and bottle manufacturing processes.

· Familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and GMP.

· Proficiency in testing methods such as:

o Drop test

o Leak test

o Burst test

o Top load test

· Experience with measuring instruments (calipers, thickness gauges, pressure testers).

· Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.

SOFT SKILLS:

· Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

· Effective communication and reporting skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
