Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure projects are completed within budget and provide accurate cost and contractual advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs from drawings and specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies for materials, time, and labor costs
• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Prepare, review, and evaluate tenders, contracts, and quotations
• Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services
• Perform cost analysis for work packages and variations
• Assess and certify valuations, progress claims, and payments
• Track variations and adjust budgets accordingly
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
• Liaise with managers, engineers, architects, and clients
• Prepare final accounts and project close-out financial reports
• Maintain detailed project and claims records

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in construction/contracting (Oman/GCC experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and contracts (FIDIC)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (Candy, CostX, etc.)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
