Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications.
Review contract documents, variations, and claims.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure cost efficiency.
Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.
Assess subcontractor/supplier quotations and certify payments.
Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare cost reports.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide accurate financial information.
Handle tendering process including preparation of tender documents, pricing, and negotiations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE construction laws, and HSE regulations.
Maintain proper documentation of contracts, correspondences, and records for audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3–7 years of QS experience in the UAE (construction, civil, or infrastructure projects).
Strong knowledge of FIDIC and UAE contract laws.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Primavera).
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
UAE/GCC driving license (advantage).
Experience in fit-out, infrastructure, or high-rise projects .
Knowledge of local suppliers and market rates.
