Quantity Surveyor

Job description:

* Thoroughly Measure and calculate material costs independently, utilizing expertise in joinery and fit-out industry standards.

* Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate material take-offs and costings.

· Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises to maximize project profitability without compromising quality.

· Conduct site visits to assess project progress and verify quantities on-site

· Update and maintain a cost database for internal reference and future projects.

· Monitor project budgets and prepare cost reports throughout project life cycles.

Requirement:

* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator role within the interior design and fit-out industry

* Experience required from Provis Contract, minimum 3 years

*Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and finishes specific to interiors.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software such as PlanSwift or similar.

* Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and market prices.

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

* Good communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
