Quantity Surveyor (APCRDA)
India
Purpose of Position
- To provide accurate cost and quantity control through verification, measurement, and certification of works executed.
Major Responsibilities
- Measure and quantify executed works.
- Maintain measurement books and site-level records.
- Validate contractor’s bills with construction manager.
- Prepare variation statements and support cash flow monitoring.
- Report deviations and cost implications.
Qualification and Experience- Graduate or equivalent in Civil Engineering / Certificate course from Institution of Quantity Surveying' with 10 years of similar experience in execution of Residential/commercial / institutional buildings.
Skills & Qualities:
- Proficiency in measurement and BOQ preparation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with IS codes and contract conditions.
- Accuracy and integrity in reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Should have good leadership abilities and skills.
- Should be able to manage a team under him.
- Should have a pleasing personality
- Good communication skills.
