Hiring: QS Engineer (Civil) – Dubai

Zurich Engineering is seeking a QS Engineer (Civil) to join our Civil Department in Dubai. .

Key Details:

• Role: QS Engineer – Civil
• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Experience: 3-5 years (UAE experience mandatory)
• Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for civil projects
• Monitor project costs and variations to ensure budget compliance
• Review and manage contracts, claims, and subcontractor agreements
• Support tendering, procurement, and vendor negotiations
• Maintain accurate documentation and project reports for management
• Verify tender vs IFC/BP drawings and prepare quantity comparison sheets
• Assist in interim payments, material certifications, and final account closures

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building projects, preferably with a Main Contractor
• Knowledge of FIDIC conditions, UAE construction contracts, and laws
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software (CostX, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
