Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Engineering Estimation team. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in Joinery Production Estimation, with proven work experience within the GCC. Familiarity with the Fit-Out industry is an added advantage. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity and cost estimates for high-end joinery and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out works.
• Study and analyze architectural drawings, project specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare and submit quotation proposals aligned with client and project requirements.
• Liaise with design, production, and procurement teams to validate cost inputs.
• Analyze subcontractor/supplier quotations for compliance and cost efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market rates in the GCC for materials and labor.
• Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
• Support project managers with cost tracking and advise on variations.
• Attend client and internal meetings related to estimation and costing.
• Ensure timely submission of tender and pricing packages.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (B.Tech) or Architecture (B.Arch.).
• 8–10 years of experience in Joinery Production Estimation.
• MUST HAVE valid GCC work experience (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.).
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, finishes, and production techniques.
• Experience in interior fit-out estimation is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel, estimation tools, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent command of reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,500.00 - QAR9,000.00 per month
