Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

A growing renovations and fit-out company in Dubai, delivering innovative solutions for residential, commercial, and retail spaces. We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team and play a key role in cost planning, estimation, and bid preparation for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine costs of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.
• Research construction documents, analyze specifications, and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Generate detailed quotations and estimations for renovation and fit-out projects.
• Develop estimates for project planning, organization, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
• Prepare cost plans to achieve project goals, including work hours, sequencing tasks, and vendor/subcontractor negotiations.
• Ensure submission of relevant documents, estimates, and budgets before bid deadlines.
• Provide regular reports to management and keep clients updated on project progress.
• Formulate contingency plans and manage risks affecting cost and time estimates.
• Stay updated with the latest estimating technology and industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams, conduct site visits, and support additional tasks (e.g., bid deliveries) when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator in the UAE construction or fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market rates.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret and read civil/architectural drawings and extract relevant quantities and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 per month
