Job Description:
- Prepare comprehensive quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates and construction budgets.
- Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost control throughout all project phases.
- Assess, manage, and reconcile variations and contractual claims.
- Prepare interim payment applications and final account statements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure financial efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, legal standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Evaluate and process change orders, with clear cost and schedule implications.
- Calculate material and labor quantities for procurement and planning.
- Track project progress and prepare reports comparing actual work completed against planned schedules.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in quantity surveying for civil or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, etc.) and cost management principles.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software such as WinQS, CCS, CostX, or similar.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
